EPROS stands for European Programme of Research in Official Statistics, and is the acronym for the EU Fifth Framework IST projects that were managed by Eurostat

The University of Edinburgh co-ordinated the following EPROS projects:

• MISSION (Multi-Agent Integration Of Shared Statistical Information Over The (Inter)Net)
• IQML (A software suite and extended mark-up language [XML] standard for intelligent questionnaires)
• MetaNet (A network of excellence for harmonising and synthesising the development of statistical metadata)
• COSMOS (Cluster Of Systems Of Metadata For Official Statistics)

We are also partners in the following projects

• AMRADS (Accompanying Measure to R&D in Statistics)
• CODACMOS (Cluster of Data Collection Integration & Metadata Systems for Official Statistics)
